Hi! I’m Berkeley, the quirky and gentle baby bat Hugaround with soft gray plush and sweet purple accents. People might think bats are spooky, but I’m cuddly and affectionate. As a night owl, I love staying up late to keep you company with warm, calming hugs. And just like real bats, I’m a great listener.
Hugarounds are a new line of microwave- and freezer-safe weighted plush companions from Hugimals World, made to ease stress and anxiety through comforting Deep Touch Pressure and an emotionally supportive design. They are created for both kids 2+ and adults to enjoy and benefit from.
Hugarounds' warming, hands-free, therapeutic hugs have won many hearts and awards already, including Parents' Magazine's Best Toys, TODAY's Gifts We Love, a 2025 TIME Best Inventions Special Mention, and a 2026 Toy of the Year Award nomination for Plush of the Year. Here's why:
- Microwave-safe for soothing warmth, freezer-friendly for cooling comfort, and weighted all over (approximately 2.5 pounds) for stress and anxiety relief.
- Unique wraparound arms/wings act as a comforting shoulder wrap. Hugarounds' weighted arms stay put on your shoulders as you move around.
- Designed with occupational therapists to bring a sense of grounding to anyone needing a hug, both kids and adults (age 2+).
- Intentionally unscented because lavender & other scents are irritants for many of us.
- Made with super-soft, high-quality, non-allergenic materials for extra comfort.
- Safe for all. Our products are designed and manufactured to meet or exceed all global children’s product standards, including the European standards, which, chemically, are the most restrictive.
-
Weighted with natural, mold-resistant clay beads, as opposed to flaxseeds or millet, which mold easily when plush gets damp from microwaving, freezing, and day-to-day use.
- Portable and small enough for travel, Hugarounds can calm nerves during trips, ease bedtime anxiety, help with focus while working or studying, soothe shoulder pain, provide relief from cramps, and offer comfort at a doctor's visit.
NOTE: Read heating and cooling instructions at the link (or on the hang tag) before microwaving or freezing your Hugaround.
We're proud to bring you Hugarounds: a versatile relaxation tool for both kids and adults, and a unique & lovable gift for all occasions.
