Sawyer the Sloth

My little sloth knows right where to place its heavy little arms. My shoulders and collar bone areas are usually areas where I feel stress reside, so, when I place my sloth on my back the arms over my shoulders, it provides a nice sense of relief! What a great design! My kids especially love seeing me walk around the house with him attached to my back haha!

Comforting and adorable… I’m considering not giving him to my grandkid!!

I wanted a big version of Sydney, but he comes only in a hugaround size, which turned out to be better! It is my first time using a weighted item, and for me there was a learning curve, but now I found the spot where he goes (right on my belly and only while sitting or lying on my back) and he will magically make me sleepy! He is so lovely, with his little eyes always starting at you, supporting you, and so so so soft! The fabric on his head and belly are especially nice. I have tried him warm (during those chilly final days of spring) and now will give him a go cold for summer. And will definitely become my companion in the dreadful experience of flying! He now has a name and is becoming my loving friend. Would totally reccomend!!

Okay, I’d like to say I bought this for a child…After my college age niece asked for Emory for Christmas last year, I’d go get on the site and then talk myself out of it. But after a particularly hard spiral with more health problems, the anxiety and depression—2-fer! I knew nothing I’d tried was working. I remembered my grandma always slept with a small pillow against her stomach. And so my little slothy was ordered and I actually got a couple of the small ones- not for babies.,, but for my car and for my tote that I take to all my drs. (Don’t get me wrong—I’m so grateful this is all mine and my grown kiddos are perfect!) I also got two of the neck babies (a slothy & koala! One for my desk and one for my recliner! ….. I think there’s something soothing in the extra soft material, and I haven’t met a child that doesn’t like stuffed animals. And so it’s a lil spark of light holding it.

If peace had a plush form, his name would be Sawyer.

These hugimals are the best! I love that you can hear them up and they stay wrapped around your neck very easily without constantly adjusting. Honestly, even better than expected!

My turtle is lovely and has a nice weight to it! He is very cute!
