Love this baby, needed a replacement for a sentimental stuffed animal and this Hugimals Capybara was perfection!
I’m a late-diagnosed woman with autism, and I searched for the best calming, sensory-friendly things to help me when I’m starting to feel overwhelmed. Iggy does this and it really does feel like a hug - one that ends whenever I want it to. Now Iggy is more than just sensory overwhelm treatment; the soft fur helps me fall asleep every night, too.
I didn’t understand how Iggy’s weight being evenly-distributed mattered, until I felt it for myself. It’s really comforting. It took me a bit to remember the weight, and I kept trying to pick Iggy up and dropping him.
I haven’t washed his fur yet, but I do know the Velcro opening (where you pull the weighting out) is very well-hidden. The tag that you cut off is on his paw, and I couldn’t see both sides of the plastic piece that holds the tag in place. I pulled Iggy’s stuffing out of that paw so I could get the entire tag. Turns out both sides of the tag *are* on the outside, just hard to find. It was not fun trying to get the stuffing back into the paw. I got it in as far as I could and just let gravity do its thing. It only took a day or two for everything to fill out properly and he looks good as new.
I’m so glad Hugimals came up as the top result for comforting items that really do help with sensory overload. I actually was able to intervene in the buildup to a meltdown and prevent the meltdown last week. Iggy may be “pricey” but he’s worth the price. Much more than the price. You won’t be disappointed.

I have Charlie,I got him at Goodwill and i love him so much,I changed his name though,his name is now Watson,he has the perfect amount of weight.

I have Cam. I was hesitant to buy him at first because it looked like he had shaggy fur and the hugaround (Ollie) who also has shaggy fur irritates my skin. It's safe to say that Cams fur is not scratchy. It is super soft with a bit shag. Cam is adorable. I love him! The other hugimals are more cartoonish with their oversided heads, but Cam seems to be a more mature/minimalist style, but still very playful and cute. He goes well in my bedroom of sage. It's very much a grounded earthy vibe. Having him snuggled on my chest definitely melts my anxieties away. I definitely recommend!!!
I was asked to give my honest review on Harper the Pig, I can say that this review includes them all because they are ALL so wonderful, who knew a weighted plush would solve my sleeping issues, my anxiety issues so well I probably sound silly when telling my friends how amazing Hugimals are. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
