I babysat for a friend whose daughter had a stuffed plushie. I sat with it in my lap, just casually holding it. About half an hour went by before I realized…it was kinda soothing! I wanted my own. That night I did my research, compared brands, & spents days deciding which one i wanted! I watched the shipping updates like a hawk. Its been a few weeks and ive loved it since it arrived. Ive taken my bear on long distance road trips, overnight stays out of town, or ill just lay on the couch with it spread across my chest while i scroll tiktok. My Hugimals provides a much needed element of comfort to concious and/or subconscious stress inducing tasks & experiences. I want to design & create small shirts & garments to personalize my Hugimals. I tell all of my peers about it and plan to gift one to a close friend who i think would benefit from. Great product, Great Customer Service

Plushies are exactly as described! Love the weight and quality. One of the plushies had an issue and I raised it to customer support and they immediately fixed it by replacing it for us with no cost and let us keep the plushie that had an issue! We'll be keeping our new one while the old one was manually fixed and donated to a charity!

Grief Support

If someone informed me 4 years ago that I would be sleeping with a weighted koala bear for support ... my laughter would have shaken the rafters. Yet here I am, 6 months into the death of my spouse and clutching "Quigley" as a comfort in the night. Believe it or not ... this weighted creature calms my body which has been in flight-or-fight mode for months now. Acute grief has triggered my body and emotion state into a high alert status. My Sam the sloth was lost in the mail and I was so distraught. After some investigation I still didn't locate him. I reached out to customer care and they replaced him for free. I will definitely be buying others! Wonderful customer service. I really felt heard and cared for. 10/10

soooo soft and cuddly

i've struggled with really severe generalized anxiety disorder and general loneliness for years, which can be extra bad when i'm trying to sleep. having this plush on my chest and cuddling with it actually manages to help a bit. i'm a bit disappointed that it's not warmable like i thought it was (the Hugaround types are instead) but that's my own fault for not doing further research. as someone with really severe allergies who has tried other anxiety-relief plushies that were unfortunately scented and triggered a reaction, this has been such a blessing.

Comforting

I ordered my hugimal a couple years ago and I still love it just as much as the day I ordered it!! Quinn the koala brings me so much comfort, especially if my kids arent home or my husband is out of town. The weight of the hugimal laying on my chest relieves anxiety and calms me down. Love it so much !

How do our weighted products work?

Similar to a big, comforting hug, the weighted pressure (aka Deep Touch Pressure) in our products brings on a relaxation response from your parasympathetic nervous system — and tamps down a fight-or-flight response from your sympathetic nervous system.
